The National Eisteddfod of Wales is the country’s main celebration of the arts. It is a travelling annual festival which attracts around 150,000 people each year.

This year it comes to Llanrwst in the Conwy Valley. The Eisteddfod has not been held in Llanrwst for 30 years, and the local Welsh community is very excited to host this beloved event.

From the opening ceremony on the 2nd of August, the event will run until the 10th. With lively performances, shows, an open air stage and comedy evenings over the week-long event, there is going to be something for everyone to enjoy. The message from the organisers is clear – this Eisteddfod is definitely going to be one to remember.

Preparation work for the Eisteddfod has been well underway since the middle of June, with an expected six week time frame for the whole site to be ready in time for the opening ceremony.

QUAD Fuels are always proud to support local events and businesses; and continuing this passion, QUAD are supplying the fuel for the generators being used at the Eisteddfod! With thousands of litres of fuel being delivered in order to ensure that everything runs like clockwork for the main events.

QUAD are also sponsoring the raffle at this year’s Eisteddfod, so be sure to look out for us when you buy your tickets!
