Anthony Saunders – Managing Director
Anthony has been in the fuel distribution industry for almost 30 years. Until 2007 he ran a long established and successful Wrexham based fuel distribution company before its sale to a FTSE quoted plc where he held several senior management positions. At the time of his resignation he held responsibility for 17 locations throughout Wales and adjacent counties.
Having seen the need for a local based distributor in North Wales, Anthony has set up Quad Fuels Ltd.

He began as a driver, progressing through to be a supervisor, router and depot manager. Steve has been responsible for all aspects of transport and operations in a fuel distribution depot.
Andrea Pitts has been in fuel distribution since 1993. Her career has taken her from the office junior in Kinmel Bay to be its manager by the age of 25. She has been tasked to help out at “problem” depots in West Yorkshire and Cumbria for 12 month periods. Since becoming part of the same organisation as her co-directors in 2009, Andrea worked as a Regional Manager, being Anthony’s deputy.
Andrea’s strengths are in sales and marketing, staff coaching, customer service and forming long term business relationships with her customers in all market sectors. Andrea has a vast knowledge of all aspects of oil industry sales including fuel additives, specialist fuels, lubricants and tanks.
Graham has worked in fuel distribution with Anthony since 1991. He has worked in the commercial sector throughout that time and is well known to most farms and businesses in North Wales and Shropshire. Graham has a vast knowledge of all aspects of oil industry sales including specialist fuels, lubricants, tanks, fuel additives and fuelcards. Graham’s portfolio of accounts speaks for itself and is unrivalled in the area.
Nesta Williams has worked in the fuel industry since 1994 with BP and Shell and has undertaken various roles in sales, customer service, stock control, administration and team leadership. She has built up long-standing business relationships with her customers who have followed her around the industry to Quad Fuels Ltd in January 2017.
Her priority and strength is always to provide excellent customer service and after sales care. Andrea and Anthony both started working with Nesta in her previous employment where she was always a fantastic support in their roles since 2007. Nesta has a vast knowledge of the industry including fuel additives, tanks and lubricants.
Sue has worked in the fuel industry for over 23 years, working alongside Andrea Pitts, supporting her in her roles within sales, marketing, and debt collection. She also adopted the role as Team Leader, managing the team in Andrea’s absence in her secondment to Cumbria.
Sue has excellent customer service skills and is happy to be working back with the members of the Quad Fuels Ltd team. Her strength is within retention and customer regain where countless customers have followed Sue from her previous employment.
Yasmin Knox – Business Development Manager
We would like to introduce you to our newest member of the team Yasmin Knox, she has been with us here at Quad Fuels for nearly a year, but after her six-month probationary period, we haven’t seen much of her unfortunately thanks to the lockdown. Despite this, she has been busy working from home, taking your calls and queries and has been ready to assist our wonderful customers with all their fuel needs.
Yasmin joined the Quad family at the end of September 2019 after being on maternity leave, having her beautiful baby girl Penelope. Her family already includes her daughter Eva and boyfriend Dan, who also has another daughter called Evie. They are a lovely hard-working family, and Yas is actually a niece to one of our company directors, Steve Forkin. So you could say, selling oil is in the blood!
Yas has worked in previous employments in the same role and industry, before joining the Quad family. Living in Wrexham, she’s familiar with the local area, businesses, farmers and those who are on domestic oil.
